Creative director and curator, formerly Co-founder & Artistic Director at Théorème Éditions, based in Paris.
For 15 years, I have been accompanying artists, designers and institutions in their creative and strategic development.
Trained in fashion in the early 2000s at A-POC by Issey Miyake and Dior Homme, I developed a demanding creative vision working on Hedi Slimane's image, before accompanying Gaia Repossi on the repositioning of Maison Repossi.
In 2011, I founded David Giroire Communication, a press and public relations agency working with fashion designers, jewellers, artisans, architects and designers, each selected for the relevance of their work and the quality of their craft.
In 2018, inspired by the new generation of architects and designers I was working with, I co-founded Théorème Éditions, a French furniture and objects publishing house. There I selected and challenged designers and artisans on materials and production techniques, pushing the initial conceptual intention further without ever altering its meaning.
As a curator, I develop projects at the crossroads of art and design. I have presented the work of artists such as Andy Warhol, Daniel Buren, François Morellet, Walter Pfeiffer and Thomas Ruff, as well as emerging artists including Saskia de Brauw, Valentin Fougeray and Joseph Schiano di Lombo.
I work with artists and designers on their positioning and image, guide them on their creative proposition and connect them with the right people and partners to support their strategic development.
I also advise collectors, brands and institutions on their artistic choices.
